Chronic pain affects about 86 million American adults to some degree. Left untreated, this can lead to several critical physical, emotional and social problems.

Pain Medicine is a mutlidisciplinary team effort often involving the patient's primary care physician or other treating doctor, and specialists in physical medicine, pain management, anesthesiology, radiology, psychiatry, psychology, oncology, nursing, physical therapy, complimentary alternative medicine, and other fields.

Pain management is important for ongoing pain control, especially if you suffer with long-term or chronic pain. After initial pain assessment, Sreenadha Vattam, MD can recommend various available pain treatments that are suitable for your situation.

We are not using methylprednisolone in our practice.  We do not buy the medications from compounding Pharmacy.  We buy medications directly from the manufacturers.  We are using Kenalog (Triamcinolone ) in our practice, which we buy from Bristor-Myers Company.  At present we (our patients) do not have any risk from epidural Steroid injections.  Remember safety is our number one priority.
